HEALTH & MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
Is any of this medical advice?
No. Keryn Gold holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, not a medical license.
Please read this before acting on anything in the health section. See also the Terms of Use, Disclosures, and Privacy Policy.
Effective date: September 1, 2026 · Applies to: every page, book, summary, toolkit, email and download published by Lead With Gold, LLC that touches health.
Is any of this medical advice?
No. Not one word of it.
Everything we publish about health is general educational information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Reading it does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Keryn Gold or Lead With Gold, LLC.
Is Keryn a doctor?
She holds a PhD, which is not the same thing, and we are direct about that.
Keryn Gold holds a PhD in biomedical sciences and statistical genetics. She is a scientist and a researcher. She is not a physician, nurse practitioner, physical therapist, chiropractor, registered dietitian or licensed mental health provider. She does not practice medicine, provide therapy, order tests for you, or prescribe.
So why write about health at all?
Because she went looking for answers for herself and found approaches that worked when standard care had not, and because almost nobody explains them in plain English.
Telling you something exists is not the same as telling you to do it. Everything here is a starting point for a conversation with your own clinician, not a replacement for one.
What should I do before acting on any of it?
Talk to a qualified, licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping or changing any treatment, medication, supplement, diet or exercise program.
Never disregard professional medical advice, and never delay seeking it, because of something you read here.
What if this is an emergency?
Call 911 or your local emergency number, or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on this site.
Will this work for me?
We have no idea, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing.
Persistent pain, fatigue, autoimmune conditions and digestive symptoms have many possible causes. An approach that helped one person, including Keryn herself, may do nothing for you, and in some cases may not be appropriate for you at all.
Nothing on this site is a promise, a guarantee or a prediction of any health outcome.
What about the specific approaches you write about?
We write about fascial counterstrain, intracellular micronutrient testing, gut microbiome restoration and related approaches because they are under-discussed and worth knowing exist.
We describe them. We do not endorse any particular practitioner, laboratory, product or protocol as right for you, and we do not claim any of them diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any disease.
The volume and quality of published evidence differs substantially between these approaches. Take the question to your own clinician and look at the evidence together.
What about supplements and wellness products?
Statements on this site about supplements or wellness products have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. No product mentioned is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Someone's story on your site sounds exactly like mine. Does that mean anything?
It means one person had that experience. That is all it means.
Personal accounts on this site are not typical, have not been verified as clinically representative, and are not evidence that you will experience anything similar. See our Disclosures.
What about the content for kids?
Material about children's learning, wellbeing or development is written for parents, guardians and educators. It is not pediatric medical, psychological or diagnostic advice. Talk to your child's pediatrician or a licensed specialist about your child.
Does this apply outside the United States?
Regulations, available care and product rules differ by country. Nothing here should be read as guidance about what is lawful, available or advisable where you live.
Do you want my medical history?
No, and please do not send it. We do not ask for, receive or store diagnoses, medical records, test results or prescription histories. See our Privacy Policy.
What if something here is unclear?
Ask. We would rather answer a question than have you act on something you misread. Reach us through our contact page.
Not sure whether something applies to you?
Ask us, then ask your clinician. In that order or the other one, but ask both.
